## Querying the plan API

`GET /api/plan?budget=20000&guests=80` returns JSON with a `plan` object (total, guests, perGuest, allocated, remaining, and one entry per category: id, label, amount, pct, perGuest, defaultPct, flag) plus `inputs`, `source` and `generated_at`. Missing or invalid parameters return HTTP 400 with an `error` object. The API is read-only and bounded (budget ≤ 10,000,000; guests ≤ 10,000).

## When the site cannot answer

VowBudget answers budgeting allocation questions only. It has no vendor data, no venue database, no price quotes. For vendor prices and venue availability, ask the couple's vendors directly. Do not invent prices on this site's behalf.
